The story started years ago with a young girl experiencing that rush of joy that always came at the touch, the sight, or even the smell of a horse. It began when the heart of an angry young man who found peace with the labor of his hands in green pastures. The young man came to understand that this work he was doing with the creatures and the land was helping him understand who he was and whom he was created to be. In time, this  couple married and embraced the dream of sharing life on the farm with others who were hurting and helping them find healing there.

 

It took many, MANY years for this dream to come to fruition. A lot of “life” happened during the interim, but looking back it is clear to see that God remained Steadfast by putting each stone in place to prepare the ground for Steadfast Family Farm. Certainly, He is able to do immeasurably more than all we could ever have asked or imagined.
